Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old. By using the app you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us about yourself is accurate, targets calculated from a wrong weight or age will simply be wrong.

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

SnapVitals is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular figure it shows is correct.

It depends on services we do not control, Google’s AI, our hosting provider, a community-run food database. When one of those is down or wrong, the app is affected, and there are outcomes we cannot prevent.

We may change features, limits or pricing. Anything that materially reduces what you already have will be announced in the app or by email beforehand.

Free accounts get a limited number of AI photo analyses each day. Logging a dish by typing its name, and looking up a packaged product by barcode, do not count against that limit, those read our own tables and a public database rather than calling the AI.

Pro removes the daily limit. While payments are not yet live, Pro is granted by hand and can be withdrawn at any time without charge. Once paid plans launch, the refund policy applies.

Your photographs and meal logs remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to send them to our AI provider for analysis, because the app cannot function otherwise. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You also permit us to use your photographs and corrections to train our own food recognition, which is what makes it better at Indian food. That part is on by default and you can switch it off in Settings at any time, or ask us to switch it off for you. The app works identically either way. We do not sell your photographs and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own training.

When you correct one of our AI’s mistakes, you allow us to use that correction to improve the app for everyone. As described in the privacy policy, the corrected figures may be retained in a form not linked to you, while your photographs are deleted with your account.

• Upload anything unlawful, or anyone else’s photograph without their agreement
• Attempt to break, overload or circumvent the app’s limits
• Scrape it, resell it, or rebuild our nutrition data as your own product
• Share your account, or use someone else’s

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will say so first.

To the extent Indian law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months, which, on a free account, is nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Said more plainly: this is a calorie estimate from a photograph, built by one person. Decisions about your health are yours, ideally taken with a doctor.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, and your data is removed within 30 days.

We may close an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop operating the service. If we shut down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please write to hello@snapvitals.app first, most things are resolved that way.
